Bid Service

  • Each bid submission requires payment of the stated bid service fee via Telebirr.
  • Bid fees are non-refundable once a bid is successfully submitted.
  • You may place multiple bids on the same auction; each bid incurs its own fee.

How to Win

  • The winner is the participant with the lowest unique bid when the auction ends.
  • A bid is unique only if no other participant submitted the same amount.
  • The lowest bid does not always win — the lowest unique bid wins.

Payments

  • All payments on HowLow are securely processed using Telebirr only.
  • Winners receive payment instructions after the auction closes.
  • Failure to complete winner payment on time may result in account restrictions.

Eligibility & Account

  • You must be at least 18 years old with a valid Ethiopian phone number.
  • You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential.
  • Notify support immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

Auction Conduct

  • Automated tools, collusion, or outcome manipulation are prohibited.
  • Violations may result in bidding suspension or account termination.
  • HowLow may update auction rules; continued use means acceptance.

Limitation of Liability

  • HowLow is provided as-is for reverse auction participation.
  • We are not liable for technical interruptions beyond our control.
  • Disputes are handled under our stated policies and applicable law.
